Owner/Founder Roualeyn de Haas has shared his love of Africa with discerning travelers for over a decade, both planning and guiding exceptional safari itineraries. Born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, he spent several years as a private guide and has an intimate knowledge of the region and its peoples, as well as of African political history. His education in Business, and his extensive international travel give him a remarkable perspective on Africa and its global role. He is a registered Field Guide, Whitewater Guide and Coastal Kayak Instructor, published travel writer and a keen wildlife photographer.
