Ballooning – The quietest and most regal way in which to survey the landscape, ballooning offers an exquisite way to enjoy flight. Quiet, meditative, awe-inspiring, we can let you soar high above the Okavango Delta, the Kalahari or Namib Deserts, or the dramatic and rugged Cape Winelands.
 

Canoeing – Canoeing is offered at some lodges on the Zambezi, like Tongabezi and River Club, as well as on some explorations. Safari by water is quiet, non-invasive and non-threatening to most animals allowing a special glimpse of wildlife.

Elephant Safaris – Whether enjoying elephant interaction through game-viewing or by elephant-back, you cannot fail to be inspired by these great creatures. The world’s largest land mammals, you will be amazed by their grace and nobility, as well as the kinship that exists between man and elephant.

Golfing – Player, Els, Goosen, Price; Southern Africa’s golfing legends need no introduction. We can take you to their home courses or the home of the Million Dollar at Sun City. There is no comparing the dramatic beauty and grandeur of golfing in Africa. With hundreds of Championship-level courses there is a course style and location to fit in with your golfing safari.

Horse riding – From the Game Reserves of the Tuli Block in Botswana, to the Malawian Highlands of the Great Rift Valley, we know all the best places to fill your equestrian desires. On well schooled ponies and horses you can explore coastlines, forests, deserts and game reserves.

Kayaking – North Island, Seychelles and Kaya Mawa, Malawi are the best places for kayaking. Paddle a sea kayak from island to island over crystal blue waters for an unforgettable experience. Take a 2 day kayak trip between lodges on Lake Malawi for an unforgettable experience.

Mountain biking – Whether biking down Table Mountain, or with elephants in Botswana we have what it takes to get you out in Africa on two wheels. Fully escorted and suited to your needs and abilities, a bicycle is the best way to get on the ground but travel at a faster pace than walking.

Mokoro – This traditional dugout canoe is the transport of choice for many residents of the Okavango Delta. We now use this for some game activities when water levels allow, or in camps on a permanent channel. Just sit back, enjoy the rhythmical sway of the mokoro and let the animals silently appear.

Shark diving – for the brave at heart, come cage diving in Shark Alley, home to the highest concentration of Great White Sharks in the world, and site of the world famous “breaching” sharks.

Sleepouts – This is something for the discerning guest who truly wants to get “out” into Africa. A fully catered and perfectly safe escorted night under the stars with just the cry of the hyena and the roar of the lion to fall asleep by. No walls, no roof; just the biggest ceiling of wide open sky you can imagine.

Walking safaris – From walking in the Okavango Delta to a hike up Table Mountain, we have qualified guides to lead you there and ensure your enjoyment. An African safari on foot gives an unparalleled experience of the true taste, smell and feel of Africa.

Whitewater rafting – We can take you on rafting trips ranging from an adventure down the mighty Zambezi River, known as the biggest commercially run water in the world, to the lazy Orange River bordering South Africa and Namibia.

Whale watching – Walker Bay, in the Southwestern Cape, is known for the world’s best land based whale watching. Come with us on land or by boat and watch the annual migration and calving of Southern Right Whales, Brydes Whales and Humpback Whales. Not 30 meters from the shore, we’ll introduce you to the world’s largest mammals.

Wine tasting – South Africa has been making wine since the 1680s. Despite this, the country is known for its New World wines due to the modern methods employed to create them. With hundreds of vineyards in some of the continent’s most beautiful locations, we can offer our expertise and knowledge in the techniques, cultures and traditions of this esteemed pastime. A connoisseur? We will organize a private tasting personally delivered by one of the finest wine makers in the country.

Quad biking – This is a fun way to experience the desert. In the dry season you can explore the Kalahari Desert by quad bike, affording you an exhilarating and low-impact means to travel over the Makgadigadi Pans.

Scuba diving –Rocktail Bay Lodge will give you the experience of a lifetime with their state-of-the-art dive center and 30km of undisturbed coastline. If you have ever dreamed of diving in Africa, this is where to do it. Kaya Mawa, Malawi also offers PADI certified dive courses and current free crystal blue water.
