Ballooning – The quietest and most regal way in which to survey the landscape, ballooning offers an exquisite way to enjoy flight. Quiet, meditative, awe-inspiring, we can let you soar high above the Okavango Delta, the Kalahari or Namib Deserts, or the dramatic and rugged Cape Winelands.

Canoeing – Canoeing is offered at some lodges on the Zambezi, like Tongabezi and River Club, as well as on some explorations. Safari by water is quiet, non-invasive and non-threatening to most animals allowing a special glimpse of wildlife.

Mountain biking – Whether biking down Table Mountain, or with elephants in Botswana we have what it takes to get you out in Africa on two wheels. Fully escorted and suited to your needs and abilities, a bicycle is the best way to get on the ground but travel at a faster pace than walking.

Mokoro – This traditional dugout canoe is the transport of choice for many residents of the Okavango Delta. We now use this for some game activities when water levels allow, or in camps on a permanent channel. Just sit back, enjoy the rhythmical sway of the mokoro and let the animals silently appear.

Shark diving – for the brave at heart, come cage diving in Shark Alley, home to the highest concentration of Great White Sharks in the world, and site of the world famous “breaching” sharks.

Sleepouts – This is something for the discerning guest who truly wants to get “out” into Africa. A fully catered and perfectly safe escorted night under the stars with just the cry of the hyena and the roar of the lion to fall asleep by. Whale watching – Walker Bay, in the Southwestern Cape, is known for the world’s best land based whale watching. Come with us on land or by boat and watch the annual migration and calving of Southern Right Whales, Brydes Whales and Humpback Whales. Wine tasting – South Africa has been making wine since the 1680s. Despite this, the country is known for its New World wines due to the modern methods employed to create them.
